Ameritex Property Management’s simple 3-step process allows for residents to locate, apply for and lease their next home quickly and more conveniently.


Easily view our current and pre-leasing homes on our website. By utilizing the search and filter features, you are quickly able to identify a home that fits your needs in your desired location. 


Schedule a self-showing by finding a property listing on our website and selecting
 Schedule Tour. Follow the instructions, which will allow you to gain access to view the property on your time.


Once you are ready to apply, fill out the application found on our website, and an Ameritex Property Management team member will be reaching out with next steps.

The Application Process, Screening Criteria, and Move-In

What Residents Can Expect


When partnering with Ameritex Property Management, resident applications are completed online and include the following additional requirements:

  • All renters 18 years of age or older must be included on the application.
  • For each applicant, be prepared to provide proof of income through our online bank verification system and a valid US government-issued ID.
  • A non-refundable $75 application fee per applicant is required to complete the application.

Ameritex Property Management’s screening criteria includes a review of the following:

  • Monthly net income to be 2.5 times your monthly rent or greater
  • Credit report
  • Criminal Background Check
  • References and follow up with current or previous landlord.

While meeting the criteria above does not guarantee approval, those are the foundation of our multi-point screening process. History of bankruptcies, felonies, evictions and/or landlord debts could result in higher deposits or application denial. 


Once a lease is signed…

  • A non-refundable hold fee of $500 is required to secure a residence, even if a lease has been signed. Hold fee is deducted from security deposit.
  • A security deposit is due prior to move-in. The security deposit depends on the qualifications of the potential resident and is equal to one- or two-month’s rent.
  • 1st Month’s rent (or Pro-rated rent) is due prior to move-in.*
  • Rent is due on the 1st of each month, even if a move-in date was not the 1st of the month. Please review your lease for details.**

*Pro-rated rent for mid-month move-ins is equal to monthly rent X number of days from move-in date to the end of the same month. **Resident(s) may incur late fees of up to $195 if rent is paid after the 1st of the month.


The allowance of pets is property specific and indicated on the individual listings of each home. However, additional rent and/or deposit may be required and are as follows: 

  • A non-refundable $250 fee per pet is required to be paid at the time of move-in
  • For each pet, there will be a $30 monthly fee 
  • The number of pets and breed restrictions may vary, so please contact our property management team for more information.
  • In accordance with the Fair Housing Act, Ameritex Property Management does not discriminate or require additional fees for service and/or emotional support animals.
